About

Welcome to Rueybear, ethical fashion for little people that doesn’t compromise on style.

We focus on contemporary, gender neutral designs that are bold, bright and fearless and enable movement and play. Because when you’re little life should be about exploring and having fun!

All our fabrics are GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified organic cotton and coloured with low impact dyes. Organic cotton is super soft but also hard wearing and washes incredibly well.  Our garments can be washed as normal at 40 degrees or less with similar colours.

Made to order – All our apparel (unless stated) is made to order exclusively for you with a turnaround time of 2-3 weeks.

Room for growth – Rueybear garments are designed to grow with your child. All our fabrics are a cotton elastine mix meaning they are super stretchy and comfy. Our harem waist trousers and rompers leave room for the all important nappy, including cloth nappies which can be bulkier than disposables, and more importantly room for growth! We do not use traditional elastic in any of our trousers, we prefer to use super stretchy ribbing which is much kinder to little tummies and doesn’t leave red marks. This can be especially important in babies who can suffer from colic and wind. Our intention is that you will buy a quality item that will last longer than mass made clothes and can be ‘handed down’ with pride. Buying less means less garment wastage.

All garments have Rueybear branded labels, internal size labels, kraft swing tags and come gift wrapped in kraft paper, finished with a Rueybear sticker.

To continue an effort to uphold the ethical ethos of our business all paper products are recycled and kept to a minimum. All scrap fabrics and materials are donated to Bristol Children’s Scrapstore where they will be distributed to local schools and play centres to be used for children’s crafts.

All items are professionally finished on an overlocker/ serger.
